Congressional Briefings
The Congressional Prevention Caucus sponsors briefings to educate congressional staff on a wide variety of prevention issues. These briefings serve to present the best available evidenced-based information so that Members of Congress can make informed decisions regarding prevention legislation. Past briefings topics have included tobacco legislation, prevention research, immunizations, injury prevention, and Healthy People 2000.
